Steve Goldsher, President of GPS, is a CPA who has worked in the print industry since 1986. He began as Chief Financial Officer for a small pre-press house in Chicago (Revere Graphics), which later became the largest and the premier shop in all of the Midwest. Steve spearheaded numerous acquisitions throughout the late 80’s and early 90’s, and a consortia was formed called The Enteron Group.
One of the divisions purchased in 1991 was Merit Graphics, a sheet-fed commercial printing operation. Steve became CEO of Merit in 1992 and tripled sales within 2 years by implementing many of the principles which now framework GPS. In 1998, Steve was instrumental in selling The Enteron Group, then over $60 Million in annual revenues, to a publicly traded $2 Billion graphics concern.
