When you receive complex quotes, make sure you truly understand all of the elements involved.  For instance, if you are doing an annual appeal mailing project, there typically will be print costs, mail processing costs, and of course postage.  Be careful that you have received all of these and that the details are clearly spelled out.  If in doubt, ASK!  The last thing you want is to receive an invoice that is way more than you budgeted for.
